Compare the mercies of God with the mercies of the world. Gain happens in both, but the gains the Lord gets benefit both the one who receives and the One Who gives mercy.

Coming into the kingdom is the one thing sought in offering mercy to people. No ulterior motive exists.

Even when no selfish motive is behind the earthly helping hand extended, the outcome is limited to the resolving of a situation, but when I extend mercy I mean a returning to Me and all that I have.

Mercy is My nature and when people avail themselves of it they have come to see Me rightly. It takes humbleness to ask for mercy, and the utter emptying of one’s resources. This is right relating. ‘Pity that it involves sorrow and devastation before people reach that state, and want of such, of Me. I am ever merciful and the need for it is ever present with creatures made of dust, here today and gone tomorrow, who are nevertheless My children and entitled to My love.

I am, ‘Merciful Lord’, the One beseeched to have mercy; it is My nature always to have mercy. I love you in mercy, I died for you in mercy. We talk of hearts when we talk of mercy – the need in yours, the grace coming from Mine.

Are you lonely, despairing, tired of life or just the one that is your own? Do bus rides show you things out the window that deaden all hopes or make life seem unchanging? What of TV? The news and shows that capture you, and kill all that is noble within you?

Do not fear, little flock, it has pleased the Father to give you the Kingdom. Of such is mercy. A very great mercy.

It is ever on tap for those who come for it with a right heart. If you are tired and heavy laden, come. If you have nothing to give, come. Mercy is a call to come home. Do, child, every time you need to do so.

Mercy ever waits for you to arrive.
